Expanding on his 2024 exhibition Survival Sphere, Hansunthai explores the fragile relationship between humanity, belief, and the natural world. In the context of environmental crisis and social change, the exhibition reflects on how once-sacred resources are increasingly reduced to commodities, losing both meaning and balance.
Through painting, installation, and mixed media, the works examine the tension between reverence and exploitation—positioning humanity as both caretaker and destroyer. Rather than simply depicting loss, the exhibition invites reflection on what is truly at stake: not only the depletion of resources, but the erosion of the spiritual and cultural values that once sustained them.
Wanlop Hansunthai is a contemporary Thai artist whose multidisciplinary practice engages with environmental, social, and cultural themes, grounded in lived experience and material exploration.
